When visiting Saigon, Tan Dinh Church is a must-see destination. Built in 1876, the church was originally painted in a light yellow color. After several restorations and renovations, it was repainted in a classic pink in 1957 (the exterior is orange-pink, while the interior features strawberry and cream colors). Since then, this church has gained fame and attracts many visitors.

Currently, the church is open to numerous tourists (free admission), with visiting hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (closed on weekends). For visitors who wish to enjoy an aerial view of the entire church, MerryGo Travel highly recommends Cong and Ola Hale.
The creativity of CONG CA PHE presents a café system reminiscent of Hanoi’s planned economy era, making it familiar to both domestic and international tourists. Located diagonally across from Tan Dinh Church, it features a spacious three-story layout where visitors can easily admire and take photos of this three-dimensional architectural marvel.

OLA HALE restaurant showcases a blend of Vietnamese and Hawaiian cultures in both its architecture and cuisine. It offers a dining experience that is both exotic and rich in local character, complete with an outdoor bar. From here, guests can overlook the entire front of the pink church.

Compared to CONG, diners at OLA HALE will enjoy a more perfect view of the church.
Therefore, depending on visitors’ desires to appreciate the beauty of Tan Dinh Church, we recommend either CONG or OLA HALE. Whichever you choose will be a perfect option.
